Citizens of City Pork

City Pork Family, Baton Rouge Flooding

In August 2016, City Pork partnered with Iverstine Family Farms to prepare meals for the 1st responders at the State Police offices a few days after the flood as their helicopters returned from picking up victims of the flood.

The City Pork Family believes in giving back to the community in which we all call home, and to further our mission, we created “Citizens of City Pork.”  The objective of this effort is to give the owners, management team and employees of City Pork a platform from which to give back to our community. We have partnered with many charities, organizations and groups that we know are making a difference for our community, and in 2016 we created our service organization, “Citizens of City Pork”.  It is through this initiative we are constantly encouraging our leadership and employees to donate more time, sharing our food and love to these amazing efforts.
