City Pork is a meat lover’s paradise in Baton Rouge

Don’t get me wrong — I love vegetables in all their glorious variety — but at heart, I’m a dyed-in-the-wool carnivore. As such, places like Cochon in New Orleans and, most recently, City Pork in Baton Rouge, just push all my buttons.

At City Pork, the staff is friendly, the food is homemade and locally sourced, and the business itself is involved with building and giving back to the community. There is even a Shreveport connection at City Pork: one of the managers attended Centenary and sang in the choir there!
