City Pork announces new corporate chef, Mike Brewer, and Brasserie executive chef, Scott Gautreau

City Pork announced Tuesday afternoon the hiring of two new chefs.

The hospitality group has named chef Mike Brewer the corporate chef of the restaurant group, which houses City Pork Deli & Charcuterie and City Pork Brasserie & Bar. Chef Scott Gautreau will take over as executive chef of the Brasserie & Bar, at 7327 Jefferson Highway.

According to a press release, the two chefs’ “innovative personalities and knowledge of charcuterie, Louisiana seafood, service, wine, management, and sales pair perfectly with the vision and direction of City Group Hospitality.”
